ion’s change management course draws on natural cycles of destruction and rebirth. It communicates the values of resilience, empathy, and renewal, which are reflected in every design choice — from blurry transitions to its shimmering color palette.
Visuals are soft and hazy, moving like deep breaths. Visual tension builds and resolves over several seconds, rather than several frames. Unlike other ion courses, clarity isn’t necessarily the goal. Learners are going through tumultuous change in their organizations, and our visuals meet them where they are — in ambiguity.
I collaborated with our contract videographer to assemble a treatment that clearly outlined our vision for the course’s look and feel.
